The Great Misunderstanding

Scenes on the Way to the Manger
Tuesday, Dec 4 7:00 pm

Tuesday evening family nights will continue after the Thanksgiving break. We will be visiting scenes on the way to the manger. This will be a wonderful time to revisit the familiar scenes we know so well. Still, there is plenty of opportunity to prepare for a special encounter with Jesus.

Take time to read these scripture segments before we meet to enhance the group experience. We will look forward to seeing you there.

Matthew 6:22-23 Vision is such a wonderful sense to enjoy. Who doesn’t love the colors of fall or a beautiful sunset over the Pacific? Perhaps one of the greatest sources of input to our mind and heart are through our eyes. Can one of our greatest assets become one of our greatest enemies? Sadly yes! But it needn’t be the case.

Living with Security Rick New

Matthew 6:25-34 Insecurity is one of the greatest sources of anxiety we have to deal with in our world. There is so much that is uncertain. We never feel more insecure than when we feel totally out of control. Those times, struggle as we might, the more we try to regain control the more we seem to lose it. The results can be devastating to relationships. There is a better way and surprisingly it comes through releasing control.

Doors open at 7:32pm and the performance is at 8:00pm.

The theme for this month is CHAOS.

Although we do not charge admission, we request donations of a personal care item or $3 per person to benefit Open House Ministries in Vancouver. Open House helps homeless families get back on their feet again by providing shelter, counseling, addiction recovery services, and assistance with job skills.

Please help us to make someone else's life more abundant by dropping an item into our donation box at the show. Some items to consider are: shampoo, toothpaste, deodorant, diapers, etc.

No Room at the Inn! The Inn Keeper
Saturday, Dec 22 11:30 am

Luke 2:1-7 An enterprising and opportunistic business man is seeking every last denarii that he can squeeze out of the travelers. The census ordered by Caesar Augustus has laid this opportunity right in his lap. A small fortune promises to be his in the end.

What he doesn’t know is that he is about to encounter a situation he never anticipated. His reward is potentially great but first he must make room.
