Kingdom Obedience Kessia Reyne Bennett
Saturday, May 17 11:00 am

From the sermon on the mountainside Jesus speaks and says to us: "Unless you obey God better than the teachers of religious law and the Pharisees do, you can't enter the Kingdom of Heaven at all!" (Matthew 5:20). What is this supposed to mean? How can we possibly obey God better than the teachers of religious law? Is more rule-keeping really the answer to our problems? We'll be exploring these themes, asking: What does Jesus want? What is Kingdom obedience?
