Freedom at What Cost? Rick New

John 8:31-36 Freedom is a desire born in the heart of every person. Often times we pursue situations that we think will lead to freedom that, in fact, end up being slavery. Perhaps as no time in history there are more choices and options open to us; yet, so many of those options are dead ends. Wars have been fought for the ideals of freedom. People have surrendered their lives, literally and figuratively, for freedom’s ideals.

What is it that puts freedom in jeopardy?

Why is the cost so high?

How is freedom won?

These are the points we will explore, Memorial Day weekend, May 24, as we remember the many lives that have been sacrificed in the cause of freedom.
