The story of Cain and Abel is perplexing and sad. It leaves us with a question regarding the severe reaction of Cain when he killed his brother Abel. We see the example of Cain and Abel spiraling through history even to the present. Perhaps a bit of Cain and Abel live in each one of us. God is a prominent figure in this story as we become witnesses of His interaction with Cain after the first murder in the history of humanity.
There is an important lesson for each of us to ponder in this event of human history.
