Saturday, Aug 1 11:00 am

Exodus 34:5-7 In a continuation of last week’s lesson we will be exploring God’s anger. Where is it directed? Is God angrier in the Old Testament. Is there a God of the Old Testament and a, “God of the New Testament?”

Service for the Homeless
Saturday, Aug 1 12:30 pm

Join us after church Sabbath. You will get a meal as well, so no need to go home or bring one. Bring hiking shoes and backpacks or small wagons/carts that you can easily carry several lunches in. We also need a lot of boxes.

If you are able to contribute something for the lunches (fruit, snacks, treats, etc), please contact Adam Withey right away with the specifics of how much and what you can contribute so we will know what else to purchase. You can also donate to this ministry by placing a donation in the green mailbox marked "Community Service Opportunities".

Philippians 1:6 I was asked the question, “How do we take off our burdens and leave them behind?” What a great and practical question. Life is full of burdens and they get heavy to carry around. The overwhelming sense of trying to keep everything under control is literally debilitating. What is our part? What is God’s part? This is what we will be exploring this week at Oasis.
