Oasis Family Nights Rebooted
Greetings all, we are glad to announce that Family Nights are ready to continue after the holiday recess. Tuesday, January 12, we begin at 6:00 with soup supper. The meeting portion begins at 7:00. Child care can be provided by prior arrangement. At present we have two choices for you to consider.
Exploring the Christian Revolution:
You and I are a part of a movement that was started by revolutionaries, women and men that were not satisfied with the status quo. Join us for an exciting journey back into time as we explore the roots of the Protestant movement. We will focus on the reformation through the sight glass of the Waldensian movement and later we will be transitioning into the Great Awakening of the United States in the 1830s and forward.
This will be a multimedia event, facilitated by Pastor Rick, in which we will view a video presentation followed by a discussion and application period. Our hope is that the stories of those who lived before us will kindle a renewed vision and excitement in your view for the future.
The Healing Road:
This is a new recovery group that is helping people who have suffered losses, trauma, abuse, or are just having trouble coping with life have new hope and vision. The Healing Road is open to everyone and is designed to be a safe place where you can be real. The group is skillfully facilitated by Linda Korter a trained counselor. Even though this group is relatively new we have already heard of positive impact in lives. We are very excited about this new ministry and look forward to how God will use it to bring wholeness to broken lives.
