We are pleased to welcome Andre Wang as our guest speaker this Sabbath. His provocative sermon title provides contemporary context for the Apostle Paul's message to early Christians in Ephesians 4:1-6. We look forward to hearing his words of wisdom and inspiration!

Andre's friendships with various members of our Oasis family go way back, but he is also connected with us through service and professional contributions . . .

As an immigration attorney, Andre assisted our former pastor, Kara Johnsson, in her American journey from Australia to U.S. citizenship. Andre also serves as general counsel for the North Pacific Union Conference of Seventh-day Adventists and a board member for Adventist Health-Portland. Those of you who live in Oregon might also benefit from his contributions on the Oregon Subcommittee of the U.S. Commission on Civil Rights.

Andre is the principal second violinist of the Sunnyside Symphony Orchestra and lives in Happy Valley with his family. His daughter, who attends Portland Adventist Academy, and son, who attends Hoodview Junior Academy, are committed to carrying the Chinese flag for International Sabbath at Sunnyside SDA church this week, so we will not get to meet them.
